In preparation of my upcoming trip Down Under, I have checked on options for bike rentals. Yes, the Australians are heading into Winter time right now – while we are still hopeful for what be turn out to be a good Summer; maybe, ultimately.
Then again, what they call „Winter“ down there is very much along the lines of what I deem good biking weather: not too hot, not too rainy (well… we’ll see about that), definitely not too cold.
And: Very European-style biking is possible there as well. I am pondering a rental bike from The Humble Vintage
